How long is the treatment?
Depending on the area(s) to be treated.
Is there any downtime? Are there any side effects?
There is no downtime while some may exprience mild flushing in the treated zone. This is normal and temporary.
What is the treatment suitability?
This permanent hair reduction treatment is suitable for anyone looking to remove hair on the face, lip contour, and body!
It is unsuitable for individuals:
• who have very dark complexions
• who have medical conditions affecting the skin
• who have an infection, tumour, or wound that has not fully healed in the treatment area
• who just sun-tanned
How often should I do the treatment?
This depends on the areas for hair removal as different areas have different hair growth cycles.
We recommend that you return once a month for several months as recommended by the consulting therapist. Minimally, most areas require about 5 treatments for effective long term hair removal.
Are there other areas this treatment can be used on?
Yes, we’ve adapted the I2PL into a photorejuvenation facial treatment for overall skin rejuvenation and pigmentation removal.
Are there any pre- or post-treatment instructions?
Follow proper homecare advice customised by our therapists. As a general rule of thumb, we always recommend adequate sun protection.
